While rumors of when Apple's iPhone 5 will be released have yet to be substantiated, the website, TechnoBuffalo, might have a good idea of what it's going to look like. They created a series of 3D mock-ups based on rumors about the iPhone 5's frame and information surrounding leaked parts and alleged schematics.


At Forbes.com, Morgan Brennan reports on the new 8000-square foot Savant Experience Center, a typical “swanky” Manhattan apartment with one special difference — it’s automated with Apple technology. Brennan writes that nearly every feature of the multi-room center, including lighting, window shades, temperature, and even a hidden flat-screen television can be “easily controlled with Apple products like iPad,
iPhone, and
iPod touch-embedded remote controls” running TrueImage software by Savant Systems. Brennan quotes Savant Systems CEO Robert Madonna, who notes: “Anyone who can afford to buy an iPhone can essentially have a piece of automation in their home.”
