Huge Resident Evil 6 Update Incoming

♦ by Unknown Wednesday 24 October 2012

Capcom announced today that, in response to some negative player feedback the company has received in regards to the recently released Resident Evil 6, it will be providing a free update to the title for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox360 versions. The update will be available in mid-December, though a specific date has yet to be provided.

The update will add the following:

• Players will be able to adjust the camera to allow for a greater field of view.

• Subtitle options will be improved so that English audio can be combined with subtitles in alternative languages.

• Ada Wong's campaign will be made available from the start, rather than forcing players to first complete all three other campaigns. It will also have an optional, player-controlled co-op partner.

• "No Hope" difficulty level will be added above the existing levels for players looking for an extreme challenge.
