Have you ever wanted to work for IGN Pro League? We are currently hiring for a 3 month contract for an admin/operations job at our San Francisco office, as well as 10 station managers for ShootMania at IPL5!

Job Title: FPS Operations Manager and Administrator

Responsibilities:

·         Management of staff at live events

·         Tournament organization and planning

·         Community management and marketing

·         Problem solving and dispute resolution

·         Coordination and collaboration with video production and broadcasting

Skills Required:

·         Deep understanding of ShootMania gameplay and rules

·         Familiarity with professional players and professional scene

·         Quick thinking and problem solving skills

Required Experience:

·         Administrating eSports leagues, tournaments, showmatches, or team organizations

·         Working on eSports events (live and online)

Preference will be shown to applicants with:

·        Casting experience

·        Video capturing and editing experience

·        Strong writing skills

Applicant would be required to move to the San Francisco Bay Area and work in the IGN office every day (10-6), if chosen for position. IPL5 Help Wanted:

Position: Station Manager. We are hiring 10 people to work at IPL5 at our ShootMania tournament display. This entails working with attendees to facilitate them playing ShootMania at 5 separate stations with 10 computers each. Applicants will be required to work for 7 hours on each of the 4 days of IPL5.

Requirements:

·         Experience working in a live event or live selling environment

·         Experience working with PCs (troubleshooting minor software or hardware problems will make things smoother for everyone)

·         Experience with PC first person shooters

Preference will be shown to applicants with:

·         Customer service experience

·         Familiarity with ShootMania and its many game modes
