IGN Readers Skipping Work for Black Ops 2

♦ by Unknown Monday 12 November 2012

Last week, we asked you to tell us about your launch day plans for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. And you responded in droves.

According to our survey, which received more than 10,000 submissions, more than one out of every four IGN readers plan to skip work or school tomorrow to play Black Ops 2. That's more than 2,500 people! And that means plenty of empty desks and cubicles, if we did our math right.

Furthermore, the IGN community planned to play, on average, 5.5 hours on launch day alone. That's a pretty sizable play session, according to our totally scientific Play Session Evaluation Model (Editor's Note: not scientific at all).

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, developed by Treyarch, continues a long line of first-person shooters in the Activision catalog. Black Ops 2 officially launches at midnight tonight, November 13th, for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Tune in tonight for our complete review.
