Play as Vergil in Devil May Cry DLC

Capcom has announced the Vergil’s Downfall downloadable content for Devil May Cry. Set to arrive “shortly after launch,” the pack lets you play as Vergil and adds “fresh new gameplay” in addition to new weapons, combos, enemies and locations.

Vergil’s Downfall will hit Xbox Live and PlayStation Network for $8.99 (720 Microsoft Points) and will be available for free to customers who pre-order DmC at GameStop or EB Canada.

Vergil is Dante’s brother and serves as the head of the Order, an organization within DmC that fights demons. Earlier this year, Capcom confirmed that Vergil would appear and that he'll recruit Dante to join the Order during the game.

Devil May Cry will hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on January 15, 2013 with a PC version to follow later. For more, read why we think DmC is looking totally sweet.
