Wii U Video Apps Delayed

♦ by Unknown Friday 16 November 2012

Nintendo has pushed Wii U’s video apps to the weeks following the system’s launch. According to Nintendo, video apps including Amazon Instant Video, Hulu Plus, Netflix and YouTube will arrive “in the coming weeks” and TVii will be released in December.

The apps were originally expected to be released alongside Wii U on November 18th via the system’s day one update. We’ve asked Nintendo about the reason behind the delay and will update this story with any comment we receive.
