Actors Karl Urban (Dredd, Star Trek) and Willow Shields (The Hunger Games) are set to star in The Wonder, a family-oriented 3D adventure fantasy film that has Mighty Joe Young helmer Ron Underwood attached to direct. Chinese actor Leehom Wang (Lust, Caution) will also star.
The Hollywood Reporter describes the film, which focuses on "14-year-old Rachel (Shields) who, together with two of her classmates, find the end of a rainbow which, magically, transports them to China. There, they find themselves pursued by local authorities and a mysterious organisation. With unexpected help from Consul William Stanley (Urban), the kids are able to elude their chasers but soon discover that their journey has triggered a major natural disaster. Together with their new friend Cheng (Wang), they find their way back home but still need to race against time to stop the global catastrophe."
Hyde Park International is currently pitching the feature to buyers. Pixomondo, the Oscar-winning VFX house behind Hugo, will handle special effects for The Wonder.

How I Met Your Mother's Buffy Reunion: Seth Green to Guest Star Alongside Alyson Hannigan
♦ by Unknown Thursday, 1 November 2012 Friday, 26 October 2012 0 comments
Good news, Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans -- Willow and Oz are getting back together! Sort of. Okay, not really, but Seth Green will soon be making a guest appearance on How I Met Your Mother, thus reuniting the actor with his former Buffy (and My Stepmother is an Alien!) co-star Alyson Hannigan.
The announcement was made earlier today through HIMYM's official Twitter account. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Green's role will (naturally) pair him with Hannigan's Lily. He will play Daryl LaCoutre, a college classmate who considered Lily and Marshall his best friends. However, the couple barely remembers who he is.
Green's episode of How I Met Your Mother is scheduled to air on December 10.
