A promotional flyer has revealed details on the retail release of The Walking Dead: The Game. As told to IGN by reader Alexander Hann, GameStop is reportedly advertising that a Special Collector’s Edition of The Walking Dead: The Game will include special packaging as well as a 1,000 page compendium with the first 48 issues of The Walking Dead comic and a special cover by Walking Dead artist Charlie Adlard. The box will be available for $69.99 and will be released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Earlier this year, Telltale confirmed that a retail version of The Walking Dead will hit stores on December 4, 2012. Previously, The Walking Dead: The Game was released as episodic digital installments, starting in April 2012 and including the recent release of episode 4, Around Every Corner. A fifth episode, No Time Left, is expected before the end of the year.

The Walking Dead Special Collector's Edition hasn't been announced, but we've reached out to Telltale for confirmation and more info and will update this story with any comment we receive.
